The impact that the
Ultimate Decision has had on my life:
For the past five years, I have been going through the deepest personal tragedy that I�ve ever experienced in my life. I�ve asked for prayers from my Church, from my family, from friends, and from co-workers. I�ve read my Bible looking for answers as to �why� this had to happen to ME and MY family. Friends would send me various emails meant to uplift my spirits and explain the reason this was happening to a �good� person. There was one or more problems with those emails: they were either not spiritually based or they were not on a level that you could really relate to. Part of His Perfect Plan for me was to allow me to become Facebook friends with Brad Henry who writes the daily devotional for the Ultimate Decision. To this day, I have never met Brad, yet he has made such a huge impact on my life. I made contact with Brad through another friend on Facebook and then signed up to receive the daily devotional. At first, I thought �I don�t have time to read this�, because, like most, my job keeps me very busy, and also, because I thought it would be like all of the other emails I�ve received. I WAS SO WRONG! From the very first email, I received a blessing; a blessing that I knew was from the Lord through Brad. I have since gotten to know Brad very well, and as I have told him many times �thank you for keeping it real�! These are writings for everyday people, with everyday problems, and real life situations. He has used his own personal experiences and based them with Scripture to help everyone that receives his writings. There is NO way that you could read a writing from Brad and not be blessed. I feel sure that the Lord Jesus is well pleased with his work to reach many through this ministry.

Thank you for the messages over the past week in regards to putting the Lord first and me second. I have printed it out and placed on my bulletin board in my office where all who enter can see it and have even made copies for a few people here in the office. There are many elements at work in my life right now, all on the good (God) side! At our church, we have partnered with the website �I Am Second�, I watched the movie �Fireproof� with my wife last night and I cried and prayed over her as she slept for the first time ever and asked God for the strength, patience and kindness to be the husband she needs me to be in her time of peril with the enemy. It has been 2 years since she first was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, arthritis and a host of other problems. We have come to the realization that the evil one is in this and are now constantly lifting her up to the Lord for his blessings to bring healing to her, to allow her to live pain free and to give her peace with whatever plans He has for her. We are waiting Lord and we know it is in Your hands and it will be according to Your plans, not ours.
Right in the middle of this you send out the emails mentioned below and wow, what a slap in the face�it really woke me up to the way that I had been praying was all wrong. I know in my heart that I had been praying for my wife, our finances, our church, our kids and life in general as to how it would affect ME! I was not praying for the health of my wife for her sake, I was praying for the health of my wife so my life would be easier�.I was praying for my daughter to adapt to high school life and her grades so we could spend more time doing what I wanted to do instead of spending time with her doing what we needed to do�I was praying for our finances so I could do the things I want to do instead of doing what HE wants me to do with HIS money�
Brad, you, thru your ministry, have opened my eyes like never before! I will be a new kind of Christian because of your message. I have always considered myself to be a good man, but thanks to you, I will be a better one from now on. It just goes to show that no matter where you are in your walk with Christ, there is always room for improvement in your stride, technique and endurance as a Christian�THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! But mostly thanks to God for putting you on the side of my path to help me along the way.
My household is committing to support you with $25 per month. The money will come from my lunch funds and with the prices downtown, it only is a sacrifice of 3 lunches a month. I challenge everyone who has ever met you, listened to you speak or receives your daily devotional to give something, anything that they can in order for you to be able to continue your worthwhile efforts. Always remember, if you reach 1,000 people, but only help 1 find their way, then it is all worth it!

I RECEIVE DAILY DEVOTIONALS FROM A MAN THAT I BELIEVE GOD TRULY SPEAKS TO ME, THROUGH HIM. JUST OVER 7 YRS. Wow, what an amazing series of devotionals! They were EXACTLY what I needed this week! I do not want to sound selfish because I know there are many others who needed the same message! I just think it is amazing how God is truly using you to reach others...........by laying on your heart these lessons at the perfect time so that many would draw near to Him and sense His presence! I loved the part at the end of the Ironman when you were reunited with Julie and the boys........I wept, just like at the movies! Thank you for your ministry!
Dear Prayer Warriors, I would like to encourage all the people who get Brad�s messages every day to at least sign up for a $25 a month donation. The last time someone mentioned this, I immediately called my husband and asked him if we were still having $25/month taken out of our bank account for Brad�s minister. We had started it a while back. As you can see, I have NEVER ONCE MISSED ONE PENNY OF THAT $25. It is such an easy way to give. For those of you who have never met Brad � let me just say he is a man on fire for the Lord. You can see that he walks daily with God. I pray that God continue to bless us, i pray that he continues to speak through you as I though i had such a good relationship but since he brought our paths together i have become so much closer to him and so much more has been revealed to me i never lacked faith or patience but for the first time have began to understand �having faith-moving in faith and truly understanding that patience doesn�t just mean until i get what i want- its waiting on God no matter the outcome!

I believe in what you do Brad. I have been blessed many times over and I know that God loves me. I also realize that to deal with everything that is happening in this world we need to be reminded of that and your devotionals help us to do that. I don't get to read each and every one but there is always a blessing in each one that I get to read. Some of them seem to be just about the thing that is heavy on me at that time.
