Miracle and Prayer
May 24, 2011We had prayed for Evyn a couple weeks ago. Here is an update from last week and from yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4 Weeks Ago “Please pray for a young boy named Evyn. A few weeks ago Evyn was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in the Ponse Region of his brain stem. Unfortunately, this tumor is inoperable. Currently he is taking steroid medication to reduce swelling of brain tissue that surrounds the tumor. Also, he will be undergoing a 6 week session of XRay Radiation therapy in efforts to shrink the size of the tumor. However, this will not remove it and can only be done once. Evyn needs all of your prayers and support as he fights this disease. Pray for a miracle in healing for Evyn and also peace from Jesus to his parents as Evyn fight this long, hard battle.”
Last week - It's been a little while since I've updated Evyn's Journal here. Up till now, there hasn't been anything exciting to report. However, there are a couple of things to report on. First off, there is a HUGE praise report on Evyn's recovery. Evyn's peripheral eye movement was affected by the tumor. We've had more than one doctor tell us that it would be something that never change or get better. Well, I'm very happy to report to you all that Evyn's eye movement has returned to normal! He can now move his eyes side to side with no problems. We take this as a miracle. So, as we go in tomorrow (May 19th), for Evyn's MRI.... we ask EVERYONE to pray intensely with us that they will find no trace of the tumor. This is our hope and prayer here at home.
Evyn's Dad,
Brian
Yesterday From Evyn’s mom “The tumor is gone! We have an amazing God! Thank you Jesus! Evyn's MRI came back clear. Two months ago the tumor was taking up the entire ponse region of his brain and it was so large it was pushing on his optic nerves. Now Evyn can move his eyes from side to side which they told us was would never happened. He can also walk again!”
Amen to the power of Jesus, it is ALL Him. Thanks also to the doctors and nurses that the Lord gave His talents to.
Please also pray for a disturbing “Declaration” that I received this morning from a friend who has a disabled child/son that he has been taking care of for over 30 years. Please respond if you feel led to.
“The state of North Carolina is in the process of getting rid of case managers for disabled children like Jonathan my son. We need your help in signing a petition to the Governor. We need 10,000 signatures. Please copy and paste the website below to read about the petition and a video is also available. http://www.change.org/petitions/help-save-the-developmentally-disabled-in-north-carolina
Thank you for your prayers that reach the heavens the second you pray Amen to power of Jesus, the ONLY one who can save and heal.

Prayers May 19, 2011
Ever since we have talked about how God Answers prayer I have seen many miracles, TRUE Miracles. This is not a coincidence. God desires for us to pray but God also desires for us to know it is ONLY Him who heals. All I can say is keep praying and expect more miracles to come in the name of Jesus.
I am working on a blog for the devotionals and prayers. You can test out the Blog at http://www.theultimatedecision.com and click on "Hello World". At the bottom of today's devotional.
Please pray for a friend of Lisa's who son is having his gallbladder and spleen removed this morning at Levine's Children's Hospital. Pray for a successful surgery for Carter, calm nerves for his mom and dad and that after the surgery Carter has no other lasting issues from this procedure and that he can go back to his normal activities as soon as possible. Guide the surgeons hands today Lord in a mighty way for this family.
Praise for Teresa. I just received this from her friend.
Praise God Teresa came out of surgery she and her doctors are optimistic
very prayerful/ praising God for successfully completing phase one
The doctors are telling Teresa that in her case as a result of so many complications and damage caused
by defective parts, numerous surgeries- they are looking at her situation in four phases to gauge success.
1) come out of surgery without complications
2 )complete therapy routine and go home baring weight on her hip
3) surpass 12 weeks without hip dislocation/complications
4) be cleared to limited activities after 16 weeks
Thank you Jesus for hearing and healing us both physically and spiritually. Please help us to NEVER take you for granted.
